Mornings with Henry

Each morning, Henry wakes up and has breakfast before we head out on a bike ride to the park or just go outside to play.  He really loves being outside each morning.

Ready to get off the bike and run around the park

Swinging away

Modeling for his chalk drawing one morning
We found a tennis ball and that was about 30 minutes or fun

He threw it all around (left handed)

Henry goes to the Bay

Henry enjoyed some time at the Bay with his cousins...

Walking off the beach for the first time with his cousins

Henry goes to the Ocean

We found out that Henry loves the breakers at the Ocean much more than the calm shallows of the bay.  We took him there in the evening and couldn't keep him out with his regular clothes on.

Henry's First Concert

We took Henry to his first concert an outdoor amphitheater here in Louisville.  He really loves music and enjoyed listening Michael Franti who was the headliner.  We also found out that he loves popcorn.

Wouldn't put his popcorn down while listening to the opening act

Running around the grassy area

Drumming away to the music

Dancing away

Later in the evening.  Back to the same popcorn but
he also thought it was funny to put his ball under his shirt

Just before fading to sleep with the moon in the background

Hiking in June

Henry loves being outside and really enjoys a good hike.

Going Hiking

Going to get a trail map

Taking a little hike of his own before getting into the backpack

Looking for critters

A tiny frog was spotted

Ready to go

Full of energy early

Henry spotted this baby snapping turtle on the hike

Napping for a big portion of the hike

waking up.

Time for some PB&J after the hike

Yummy

And a little water

He is a real hiker this summer

Playing in the big birds nest artwork at the park
